How do I choose my scent?
Choose the scent that matches the mood you want to create. Minuit au Mile-End is warm and woody; Les ateliers de Griffintown is mineral and earthy; Le temps des pommes is warm and gourmand; Fin de semaine au chalet is smoky and comforting; Linge au vent sur le Plateau is soft and airy; and L’été dans les ruelles de Rosemont is green and creamy. Les ombres du Vieux-Montréal blends ink, leather and smoked wood; Citrouilles sur la rue Ontario brings together pumpkin, chai and brown sugar. Check each product page for the full fragrance notes.
Why does my wooden wick crackle?
It’s completely normal: the wooden wick can produce a slight crackling sound, for a soft and warm ambiance.
What is the burn time?
Our 8 oz candles offer approximately 50 hours of burn time with proper use and care. Each product page provides fragrance notes and care information.
Usage Tips
What should I do during the first use?
The first time you light your candle, let the wax melt to the edges of the container to promote an even burn. Do not burn a candle for more than 4 consecutive hours. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
Should I trim the wick?
Yes. Before each lighting, gently remove the blackened part of the wick and keep it short, about 4 to 5 mm. This helps maintain a stable flame and a clean burn.
Why doesn't my candle burn evenly?
Too short a burn can create a tunnel in the wax. During the first uses, allow enough time for the wax to form an even melted surface. Also, avoid drafts.
When should I stop using my candle?
Stop lighting it when approximately 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Always allow the candle to cool completely before moving it.
What precautions should I take?
Keep the candle in sight, on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects, children, and pets. Never move a candle when it is lit or still hot.

Where can I see shipping options and costs?
Quebec: $5 for orders up to $30, then $10 from $30.01 to $74.99. Elsewhere in Canada: $12 for orders under $75. Shipping is free across Canada on orders of $75 or more before discounts. Options available for your address are displayed at checkout. Read our shipping policy for details.
